Online Auction Featuring Items that Benefit The Neighborhood House

Our Main Street neighbors at Good Design Here are holding an online auction full of all sorts of unique items including furniture, artwork, rugs, and more. Best of all, a few of the items are being auctioned off on behalf of The Neighborhood House!

Last spring, leading up to our “Bash at the Boatyard” fundraiser, we had three pieces of furniture generously donated to us. Our initial intent was to include these items in our silent auction, but we were a little unsure of how to display them so they’d get the attention they deserved. While speaking with Diana at Good Design Here (who was also contributing items to our Boatyard Bash), she generously offered to auction the furniture off on our behalf. That way, they’d better stand out and could be seen by a wider audience. Online bidding is open now and runs until Sunday, April 21 for all of the items included in the auction.

While you can find all sorts of beautiful items contained within the auction, we’re particularly find of the three items being auctioned off on our behalf:

Included are a set of amazingly sturdy and beautiful walnut stands by Alexa Hampton, items #0021 and #0024. These matching units feature sliding drawers, a sliding shelf extension and open shelving area. These like-new shelves are valued at over $750 each, and bidding starts at just $200 each.

Meanwhile, item #0078 is a 10’6” handcrafted walnut dining table (or conference table) by Dos Carlos Studio with an estimated value of over $7,500. The starting bid is just $1,000.

Auction items can be shipped, and if you happen to live in the area you can even arrange to pick up your auction winning in-person.

Once again we’d like to extend a warm thank you to Diana Brochendorff of Good Design Here for offering to include our items in the auction. We encourage you to pay a visit to Good Design Here next time you’re on Main Street to see the plethora of unique items available, all of which would be a fun and stylish addition to anyone’s home.
