n what has become a holiday tradition, The Neighborhood House led a group of kid carolers around town prior to a performance of “The Grinch” by the Frogtown Mountain puppeteers.
The 12th Annual Frosty 5K is set for Saturday, December 6. The “race” is intended for both runners and walkers, competitive or otherwise. Four-legged friends are also invited to take part. It’s a great excuse to get outside, get some fresh air and enjoy the scenery during this short run/walk. The 5K also serves as the start of the annual Northeast Harbor Christmas Festival which includes events and activities along Main Street and around town throughout the day.
On Friday, October 31 The Neighborhood House crew took to the road to spread a little Halloween cheer. The gang brought a van full of treats all around town including stops in Otter Creek, Seal Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Somesville and Hall Quarry.
