Cafe Postponed to April 11

Apparently Mother Nature didn’t get the memo that it’s April, as the weather “experts” are predicting a combination of snow, rain and wind for the second half of the week. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the Community Cafe luncheon scheduled for this Thursday to NEXT THURSDAY (April 11). In case of slippery road conditions, we want to help keep everyone safe, including our volunteers who help make it all possible.

The menu will feature Chicken Parmesan served over Spaghetti along with Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, and a Whoopie Pie. As always, both sit-down and takeout options are available, with lunch service getting underway at 11:30am and running until 1:00pm (or while supplies last). The suggested donation is just $10, and seniors are invited to enjoy lunch “on the house.” Special thanks to our generous sponsors for this Cafe, Swallowfield and LandVest.
