Despite mild temperatures, a forecast that called for strong winds and rain could have easily dampened the enthusiasm for the 9th Annual Frosty 5K Run & Walk. We’re thrilled to report that wasn’t the case! Over 50 participants flocked from across Hancock County to The Neighborhood House on Saturday morning to venture out on the scenic 3.1 mile course. The group consisted of nearly 30 runners, more than 20 walkers, a stroller, and a couple of four-legged friends for good measure.

Congratulations are in order for everyone who conquered the conditions and took part in this annual tradition. Not only was the Frosty 5K a great way to kick off the holiday season, but it also served as a great reminder of the strong sense of community spirit we share all year ‘round!
