Here's the Scoop: 19th Annual Bike Parade & Ice Cream Social

Wednesday, August 7 @ 5:30pm

August is just around the corner, and that means it's time to start making plans for the 19th Annual Neighborhood House Bike Parade & Ice Cream Social. We're not sure why this event has grown so much or become such an anticipated annual tradition, but we do know it's always a whole lot of fun. Grab your wheels (bikes, scooters, skateboards, tricycles, strollers, and other contraptions welcome) and join us!

EVERYONE is invited and encouraged to be a part of the fun whether you want to take part in the parade or just want to cheer on the participants and enjoy an ice cream sundae. Oh, and speaking of those sundaes… as always, they will include our Neighborhood House Homemade Hot Fudge.

The action gets underway at 5:30pm when parade participants can take advantage of the year’s worth of sparkles, spangles, and other assorted decorations and party favors we’ve accumulated to get their bikes and scooters spiffed up for the festivities. At 6:00pm, it’s time for the parade which will head down Neighborhood Road, continue down Tracy Rd., and then come back up Main Street. Finally, it’s time for the “grand finale”— ice cream sundaes for everyone in the Great Hall.
