See You in September!

After School Youth Club is Back in Session Starting Tuesday, September 6!

Drop in program offers supervised after school activities for kids entering grades K and up every Monday thru Thursday

The new school year is almost upon us, and at The Neighborhood House that means we’re busy gearing up for another year of the After School Youth Club. This flexible drop-in program is available every Monday thru Thursday from 3-5pm. While purposely not intended to serve as “child care,” the program does offer supervised activities each afternoon for children in Kindergarten ad up. Often there will be an outdoor activity combined with a group game or craft project, and a snack is even provided for those would like it. There is no need to register for specific days in advance— participants can join us whenever they’d like whether that’s nearly every day or just every once in a while. A registration form is required just so we have your contact info. and any pertinent information a out your child we should be aware of.

Each afternoon our Neighborhood House bus will meet children outside the school to transport them to Youth Club. On nicer days staff members will meet the kids to walk them down to The Neighborhood House.

The fee to be a member of the “Youth Club” is $15 per day and maxes out at $425 for each half of the school year (Sep-Jan & Feb-June). Invoices will be mailed periodically, and we are more than happy to set up a payment plan if you’d like. Scholarships are also available and are kept completely confidential. For details, please contact our Executive Director, Anne-Marie Hart.
