Covid Risk Level Dips to "Medium"

Oct. 21, 2022: The CDC now classifies Hancock County as having a “Medium” Community Risk Level for Covid-19. This is down from a “High” level the prior week. The CDC updates these metrics every Thursday by 8:00pm (although they’re sometimes a little later than that). You can see their data here:

Thanks to the Medium rating, indoor masking is optional at The Neighborhood House. As a reminder, our policy regarding masks has followed CDC guidance since the start of the pandemic. Currently, that means that so long as the “risk level” in Hancock County is Low or Medium (which it has been for several months prior to last week’s High rating), masking indoors is optional. Masking indoors is only required when the risk level is labeled as High (as it was last week).
