Let's Dance! TikTok Dance Workshops Coming Soon!

 

Instructor Dezirae Zaman will be offering a unique series of 5 classes focused on perfecting the latest trending dances from the TikTok app. During the last few months with plenty of time at home, the app has become a popular way for kids to show off their dance moves and stay active and engaged with their peers.

Classes open to students in grades 5-8.

Classes meet Fridays, 10:30-11:30am in the Great Hall beginning July 10 and wrapping up August 7. Pre-registration is required at 276-5039 or email suzie@theneighborhoodhouse.com. The fee is $10 for a single class, or $40 for all five classes.

TikTok Dance

TikTok is a popular entertainment app where people post short videos of whatever they want. Something very popular on TikTok is dancing. In this class we will learn various popular trending dances from TikTok so that you can go and make your own videos.

About Instructor Dezirae Zaman

Dezirae Zaman is among the MDI High School graduating class of 2020 with many years experience in performing arts including dance, drama, show choir, choreography, filmmaking and makeup design. She will be starting college at Elon University in the fall majoring in Cinema and Television Arts with a minor in Theatre Arts. Notes Regarding Covid-19

As with participation in any of our events this summer, please review the following questions. You should be able to honestly answer “No” to ALL of the questions prior to participating. Additionally, we’ll have handwashing and sanitizer available to all participants along with appropriate distancing in our Great Hall.

a. Have you had a cough or sore throat?

b. Have you had a fever or do you feel feverish?

c. Do you have shortness of breath?

d. Do you have loss of taste or smell?

e. Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?

f. Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

g. Have you been out of the state in the last 14 days?
