Covid-19 Closure Effective March 16

Given the information currently available to us, we have deemed it both appropriate and necessary to temporarily suspend all programs, events, and gatherings at The Neighborhood House. Our building will be closed for two weeks beginning Monday, March 16. During this time, we will monitor the situation and confer with the appropriate agencies and organizations in determining future steps and timelines. We will announce any updates on our website as well as social media channels as soon as such information becomes available.

During this time period, our After School Program will be on hiatus. Additionally, to emphasize the importance of social distancing and efforts to reduce the spread of Covid-19, the building will not be available for use to groups for meetings or gatherings of any size.

The Fitness Room will be closed as well. Once we resume normal activity all members will have time added to their memberships to help compensate for this change.

We apologize for the inconvenience these measures might create, but believe it is absolutely the best course of action. The health and well-being of all members of our community is of the upmost importance.

This situation is rapidly evolving and something which is new for all of us. Luckily, something that is far from new is the resilience, sense of community, and willingness to look out for each other which we all share. Let’s all continue to do just that as we handle this health crisis and persevere back to normalcy.

Respectfully,

The Staff & Board of Directors of The Neighborhood House
