Smiles & Laughter Brighten Up a Foggy Evening
The Neighborhood House Board of Directors held their annual Summer Meeting on Wednesday night at the home of Tad and Lanie Lincoln. More than thirty people gathered, including Board and Committee members, numerous spouses, and Neighborhood House staff members.
There was lots to celebrate, including not just our most successful "Bash at the Boatyard" to date, but a building that is seeing more use than ever before (in the past couple of months alone we've hosted everything from a Girl Scout sleepover to the Maine Lobstermen's Association). There's also a Fitness Room that is always buzzing with activity, Mike Bouscaren's popular yoga classes that fill the Great Hall, and a summer camp program that is welcoming more than 140 participants over eight weeks.
Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing group of Board and Committee Members, who give their time and talents to keep our organization moving forward and improving our community. So many meetings are conducted via conference call or online throughout the year that this annual gathering serves as a great chance for these fantastic volunteers to gather face to face, chat, and get to know one and other.
Keep up the great work!
