Yes, it's Happening! Summer Day Camp 2022!

***UPDATE: A link to download our summer registration materials will be available on our website’s day camp page beginning Thursday, March 24 at 11am. Hard copies of the forms will also be available at our main office beginning at the same time. We expect our summer program rosters to fill quickly, so please be aware that we cannot add a child to the list until their completed form is returned.

Although we still managed to stay busy the past two summers, we’re looking forward to returning to our regular summer schedule.

We are ecstatic that our traditional five day per week (9am-4pm) day camp programs will be returning for the summer of 2022! The last couple of summers have allowed us to try some new things and offer popular programs and workshops for children, but we’ve really been looking forward to returning to some sort of “normal” (and a whole lot of fun).

Registration materials will be available online and in our main office starting later next week (week of March 21). Recently, we learned that the spot we’ve always called “home” for our day camp offerings would not be available for use this summer, which has caused this slight delay. Luckily there are a couple of fantastic organizations in our community generously making an effort to offer us some alternate spaces. Those details should be worked out in the next several days, at which point we’ll publish full details including registration forms, etc.

Just as always, camp will be an eight-week program. The fun is scheduled to kick off the week of June 27 and run through August 19. Families will have the option of registering for individual days or full weeks. You can expect rates to remain the same as they have been since 2017. The “Campership” summer scholarship program and ability to sign up for flexible payment plans will continue as well.

Looking forward to more fantastic Scamper Camp “costume parades” around town, just like this one circa the late 1990s.

An item worth noting is that we will not be able to accommodate as many program participants as usual this summer as we have in the past at the elementary school. Therefore, once registration opens we urge you to return your completed forms sooner rather than later. We expect our rosters to fill.

The program will be divided into three age-based groups:

  • Scamper Camp (ages 3 through those entering kindergarten in the fall)

  • Explorer Camp (kiddos entering grades 1-3 in the fall)

  • Quest Club (those going into grades 4-6 in the fall)

Be sure to visit our website or Facebook page for further details and links to download registration forms, individual program descriptions, scholarship applications, and more as they become available.
