With winter right around the corner, we are thrilled to announce our 9th Annual Frosty 5K Run & Walk will return as part of the Northeast Harbor Christmas Festival on Saturday, December 3. As always, this year’s 5K is open to both runners and walkers and strollers and four-legged friends are welcome as well.

The event also includes a “Kids’ Fun Run” (down Rock End Road and back) for younger runners who want to be a part of the fun. The run/walk has just a $10 online registration fee ($15 day of race), and there is no fee for the Fun Run. Best of all, the first 50 participants to register online will receive a Frosty 5K fleece headband (which might come in quite handy dependent on the weather)!

The 5K Run, Walk, and Fun Run will all start and finish at The Neighborhood House. Don’t forget that the Frosty 5K is just the kick-off event of the Northeast Harbor Christmas Festival.
