The Island Housing Trust will be taking over the kitchen on Thursday, January 16 for the latest installment of the Community Cafe. All are invited to this public luncheon which regularly attracts more than 125 diners from around our island community.

In addition to a menu which will include hearty shepherd’s pie and a garden salad, there will be an extensive selection of desserts including several creations baked by members of the Parish of St. Mary & St. Jude. A vegetarian entree option will also be available along with takeout containers for those on the go. Lunch gets underway at 11:30am and will run until 1:00pm. The suggested contribution is just $7, and seniors are invited to join us “on the house.”
