Santa Summers in Northeast Harbor

The Mount Desert Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its first ever “Christmas in July” celebration on Thursday, July 25th in Northeast Harbor.

The fun kicks off at 5:00pm when the the Thursday evening Art Walk at village galleries and shops. At 6:30, you’lll want to head for the harbor where Santa and the Mrs. will be arriving via the Maine Seacoast Mission’s “Moonbeam.” Santa will then head up the hill to Main Street where he’ll be available to meet with children on the porch at Carter’s Real Estate. The night wraps up with a free outdoor showing of “Elf” back at the marina beginning at dusk (approximately 8:00pm)— families are encouraged to pack a picnic or grab a takeout dinner from an area restaurant.
